Finance & Administration Coordinator

Both small business owners in Red Cloud, Don and Teri Theobald live in one of the Willa Cather Foundation's Moon Block apartments and often volunteer at the Red Cloud Opera House.

The Willa Cather Foundation seeks an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who values literature and the arts to fill a Program Associate role. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the museum and arts fields by joining the team of a collaborative and visionary nonprofit organization. Program Associate

Autumn is one of the best times of year to visit Red Cloud. Since reopening in July, we have added several new offerings for our guests.

Nancy and Bernie Picchi have been longtime supporters of all that we do in Red Cloud. Read more about their latest gift.

Through the generosity of several of our longtime supporters, we were excited to complete several conservation treatments of artwork from our holdings. One of these was an original W.T. Benda illustration for Willa Cather’s novel My Ántonia, lovingly presented to a friend. The inscription, which reads “A Benda original, with best wishes for a Merry Christmas! Willa” had been cut off and pasted to the back of the frame which held the drawing itself.
