Artist Reception: Sarah Rowe's "Signal"

Join us for a reception with artist Sarah Rowe on Saturday, November 5, at 6:00 p.m. Her exhibition Signal brings form to the voices of animals and celebrates our kinship with them.

Enjoy light refreshments and meet the artist as you view the exhibition in our gallery. This event is free and open to the public. Head up to the Opera House auditorium afterward to experience the rocking blues sound of Indigenous. You can purchase tickets here.


Virtual Author Series and In-Person Book Signing: Lisa Harkrader

Join us in person and online for a special children's literature event! Author Lisa Harkrader will be at the National Willa Cather Center to meet young readers and sign copies of her book, The Adventures of Beanboy, which is the 2022 One Book for Nebraska Kids. Following her book-signing, Lisa will be on hand for a virtual brown bag focusing on the role of children's literature in literacy and educational initiatives. Register for the event here.
