Jill Ping

Jill Ping joined the Willa Cather Foundation in April 2024 as finance and operations manager. She brings a diverse background to the team that includes strong leadership and management skills with a strength to seek out possibilities and opportunities.

Jill formerly worked for PC Sports of Lincoln that oversaw the growth and development of the multi-million-dollar Pinnacle Bank Arena and surrounding infrastructure projects. Upon completion of the PBA project in 2013, Jill became the executive sales manager of SMG Lincoln, who operate and manage PBA. Jill has recently worked in the finance and management industry as an enrolled agent specializing in tax preparation and taxpayer advocacy. She was nominated and awarded the Emerging Leader Award in 2022 from the National Association of Enrolled Agents.

Jill serves on several local boards and committees in Webster County and continues to have a strong passion for advocacy and assisting in education through research, optimization and system development.   

A Nebraska native, Jill grew up in Juniata and lives outside of Guide Rock with her husband Matt and their three children, Hunter, Michael, and Willow (who all attend school in Red Cloud). She has a love for animals, as well as gardening and cooking with her husband.
