Alisa Chiplaski

Born and raised in Colorado, Alisa moved to Red Cloud several years ago. Prior to joining the team at the National Willa Cather Center in 2023, Alisa worked in the Webster County Assessor's Office and she has her forestry certification from the University of Phoenix. Alisa says, "My life is my husband and my daughter. We love being outdoors and taking rides on the motorcycle. We also love our critters, our Blue Russian cat, Kitty Tom Tom, who is 8 and our German Shepard, Koda, who is also 8." She really dislikes spiders (which could be a challenge at some of our historic sites!), but likes non-poisonous snakes and used to own a Burmese python. She is looking forward to her time here.
