Marking the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice
As the world remembers the end of the Great War, we at the Willa Cather Foundation would like to share—again—Telling War Stories: The Rhetoric of the Great War, an exhibit that was created in conjunction with our 61st annual Spring Conference. Intern Cassandra Tucker created the online exhibit, in collaboration with our many partners, including the Herbert Hoover Presedential Library & Museum, the Jaffrey Historical Society, History Nebraska, North Shore Historical Museum in Glen Cove, New York, and the University of Nebraska - Lincoln Special Collections, and drawing on the private collections of Dr. Richard Harris, SGM Herb Friedman (ret.), Dr. Julie Olin-Ammentorp, and Dr. Ann Romines, and with the support of Humanities Nebraska.
