The National Willa Cather Center opens Interpreting Nebraska, an exhibition of the work of artist Julia Noyes, on February 11, 2019. Noyes owns and operates a co-op art gallery in Lincoln. Her abstract, impressionistic work is inspired by extensive travel and study abroad. There is no charge to view the exhibit or attend the open house.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Julia Noyes earned her master's degree at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and her bachelor's degree at Wayne State College. She teaches art workshops at all educational levels and offers classes at the Noyes Art Gallery in Lincoln.
