A Celebration of Landscapes by Ben Darling

We are excited to present in the Red Cloud Opera House Gallery A Celebration of Landscapes by Ben Darling. Mr Darling is currently painting in watercolor, oils, mixed media and print making (relief) in Sidney Nebraska. He paints landscapes representing different aspects and seasons across the plains and into Wyoming. He continues showing in Nebraska and exploring the visual potential of its landscapes and inhabitants. In the past several years Mr. Darling has been showing with the group “Impact” across Nebraska and the Midwest. He also participated in the U-Cross Foundation retrospective at the Nicolaysen Art Museum, Casper, Wyoming. Darling was recently commissioned to provide the Governors Arts Awards for Nebraska (2014) He continues to enjoy gardening, bicycling, culinary pursuits, and volunteer archeological work, mainly with the Bureau of Land Management Buffalo Wyoming Field Office, and teaches 5-12 art in Sidney, Nebraska.
