4th Annual December Night Soup Showdown

The Red Cloud Opera House will be brimming with enticing aromas as local chefs dust off their favorite recipe for the 4th annual December Night Soup Showdown. The event is open to the public from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a free will donation. Warm up by sampling a variety of soups and participate in the fun and lively competition by casting your vote for the 2017 “Best of the Showdown!” This year there are more chances for your favorite chef to win with the addition of awards for taster's choice and presentation. Proceeds from free-will   offerings of attendees will support Missoula Children’s Theater at The Red Cloud Opera House and Grow Readers/1000 Books before Kindergarten at the Auld Public Library

Entry forms for the Soup Showdown are available now at the Willa Cather Foundation, Auld Public Library, or you can now register online here. Entries are due by Friday, November 24 and limited to the first 15. Chefs are asked to provide a large roaster of their soup and be on hand to serve it by 4:30 p.m. the day of the event. No entry fee is required to participate.
